Lot Details

This whimsical color lithograph by Alexander Calder was published at the end of the artist's career, just before his death in November 1976. Done in his signature tones of red, yellow, blue and black, this print includes several of his iconic pyramids and floating orbs. A red fish and a white fish swim along the bottom of the page.

There is some minor foxing on the verso, scattered on the lower left quadrant of the sheet, but it does not affect the image on the recto. Some minor foxing is visible along the lower edge of the paper on the recto. There is also some discoloration on the verso, as is typical of prints of this age and medium. There are also some remains of tape near the upper edge on the verso.

This impression comes framed as shown.
