Lot Details

This lithograph, printed in colors, features several multicolored pyramids of varying sizes spread diagonally across the page. Calder used the pyramid in many of his works across mediums, usually in his signature shades of yellow, blue, and red. This impression is an HC, aside from an edition of 125. It comes attached to museum board by three hinges, with a cream-colored overmat. The sheet has a deckle edge, notably on the left edge.

There is slight mat burn on the top and right hand sides of the sheet from an early mat (see photos).
