This beautiful, atmospheric screenprint by Abstract Expressionist painter Adolph Gottlieb was done in 1970. Notable for its compositional restraint, "Blue Night" features one of Gottlieb's signature amoebic forms in brown, floating in a rich blue sky with two enigmatic rectangular shapes in the lower right corner.

There are some handling creases visible in the lower margin.
