Addison Thompson, Tilted Arc Scar. Archival digital print, image size 30 X 40 inches ; paper size is the same. Titled, stamped and signed on verso.
Addison Thompson was hired by Leo Castelli to photograph the removal of the Tilted Arc and stayed up all night taking pictures until the sculpture was removed. Thompson was notified by artist Richard Serra just as it was completed, and he raced back down to the Federal Building above the plaza to get the final picture.
