Born December 24, in South Bend, Indiana.
 
1940
Moved to Atlanta, Georgia in May with family.
 
1960
Attended Auburn University, before becoming an art director at The Marschalk Co., a New York advertising agency based in Atlanta, Georgia.
 
1964
Transferred to Marschalk Co. New York office.
 
1972
Ivan Karp, proprietor of OK Harris Works of Art, NY began exhibiting Baeder’s paintings.
 
Left a career in advertising at McCann-Erickson, in April, to become a full time painter.
 
2008
Morris Museum of Art, Augusta, Georgia Gala honoree.
 
2009
Distinguished Artist Award, Governor's Arts Awards 2009, Tennessee Arts Commission, War Memorial Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee; Presented by Governor Phil Bredesen and First Lady Andrea Conte, on April 14, 2009.
 
Continues to live and work in Nashville, Tennessee, since 1980.
