| Emerging artist Jeff Scott, American Photographer, (b. 1963) |
||
| With unique access granted by Elvis Presley Enterprises for use of Elvis' archives, which include rare photographs and his personal possessions, Los Angeles-based artist Jeff Scott (b. 1963) resurrects the ultimate American icon through haunting prints, drawings and wall calendars featuring collages of the King's assorted personal artifacts. Recently, Scott's series of luminous abstract photographs "Nocturnal Journey" is currently on view at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Elvis series can be seen in the Andy Warhol Museum collection. In addition, pieces from his Elvis project have been collected by President Bill Clinton, Polo Ralph Lauren and the Smithsonian. artnet currently has images of Scott's feisty, compelling work on the page of the Kristy Stubbs Gallery in Dallas, Texas. | ||
