"We've sold numerous works from our site on artnet! Some have sold to American collectors and some to people abroad. You have a great site and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it."

"I was beginning to assume that after 3 months artnet was better for secondary art dealing, so called 'blue chip' art, as opposed to contemporary works. However, I am glad we stuck with it, as after 3 months, we attracted several major collectors, with strong private collections of old and new, one of whom has now become a keen collector and admirer of Chris Gollon's work. The collector has thus far spent around $30,000 over the last few months."

"DREAMS AND CONFLICTS" AT VENICE BIENNALE
The art world's most exciting international event, the 50th Venice Biennale, opens to the public June 15-Nov. 2, 2003. Biennale curator Francesco Bonami has given the show the overall theme of "Dreams and Conflicts: The Dictatorship of the Viewer" and divided it into 11 independently curated shows. Many of these exhibitions have titles that seem to take their cue from a sense of global crisis, like "Zone of Urgency," "Fault Lines" and "The Structure of Survival," but Bonami's well-known interest in painting is also evident in "Pittura/ Painting." morearrow
