"Artnet has brought us new clients both in Europe and the States. We sold an important William Scott painting to a collector who has subsequently become a regular client of the gallery. In addition, we have also sold works by Sol LeWitt and Ed Ruscha through our site with artnet."

president's note
In a challenging economy, artnet is the most cost effective way to promote your gallery.

At 5.4 million page views in October, artnet is running 40% ahead of the average for the first six months of 2002. Unique users were 784,000 for October, up 3% over September and up 41% over the average for the first half of 2002.

With 42,000 images and the largest collection of galleries online, accessibility to artnet has been vastly improved with the proliferation of DSL and cable access to the Internet. Moreover, artnet remains the only art portal which provides access to fully illustrated, up to date auction results and its own daily online magazine.

We are proud of our success and thankful for your continued support. Please continue to send us your comments and suggestions.

Sincerely,
Bill Fine
