Miami art week is well in the past now, and everyone survived, more or less. The consensus is in: The vast art-fair apparatus may have wobbled under the weight of 20-plus fairs, but it remains intact. Though business may have been slow at some of the smaller fairs, optimism persists, though tempered somewhat by talk of a possible recession in 2008.
