Time to add a new stop to your Chelsea gallery rounds, if you haven't already -- Bertrand Delacroix Gallery, which was opened by a dealer of the same name in March on the ground floor of 535 West 25th Street in Chelsea. The stable so far boasts more than half a dozen artists, including Tiong Ang, Frank Brunner, Carolina Raquel Antich, Cavellini, François Bard and Michael de Kok.
What's more, joining Delacroix as gallery director is Florence Lynch, who operated her own namesake gallery in Chelsea for many years. Coming up at Delacroix is an exhibition of paintings by Ron Agam, May 5-June 4, 2011. An NYU grad, Agam -- the son of artist Yaacov Agam -- has exhibited his work around the world; he received the Chevalier of the Legion of Honor by the Government of France in 2008.
