How does a curator get a job at a museum? Well, if it’s the Smithsonian Institution, you can apply. The USA Jobs board has posted a listing for a curator of painting and sculpture at the National Portrait Gallery. The position pays $62,000-$81,000; apply online. A Ph.D. and four years experience is helpful.
