The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has scheduled a winner for this fall: "Degas and the Nude," Oct. 9, 2011-Feb. 5, 2012, a show featuring 175 Edgar Degas works from 60 lenders, co-organized with the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Next fall the Boston MFA also unveils its new Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art on Sept. 18, 2011, featuring seven newly renovated galleries in the museum's I.M. Pei building. Promising "innovative approaches to the exhibition of contemporary art in the context of an encyclopedic museum," the wing boasts 12,000 square feet of gallery space.
