A half dozen sculptures by British artist Anthony Caro (b. 1924) make their debut on the roof sculpture garden of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Apr. 26-Oct. 30, 2011. The selection includes works from the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Met itself, as well as loans from Audrey and David Mirvish, and the artist's dealers, Mitchell-Innes & Nash in New York and Annely Juda Fine Art in London. Caro himself has lent End Up, a rough-hewn assemblage of rusted steel, cast iron and jarrah wood, which dates from 2010. The show is sponsored by Bloomberg.
