Now the "mid-season" sales make news as well, even when competing with the Armory Show and seven other fairs -- arguably the biggest concentration of contemporary art the city has ever seen. Prices given here include the buyer’s premium of 20 percent on the first $200,000 of the sale price and 12 percent on the remainder.
