CAPRICORN
December 22nd-January 19th
This is an upbeat month in many ways, with leisure, pleasure, creativity, opulence and romance being high-profile. There is no shortage of popularity too, as Venus and the Sun are so well posted in your solar chart, notably around the 1st, 12th and 19th. Jupiter is also living up to his beneficial and expansive image to the best of his ability in your sign now. Between the 17th and 25th is especially blessed somehow.
In fact, all born January 11th to 14th are in fine fettle in relation to personal confidence, expansion and protection, not to mention the opportunities to push out the boat as the tide is definitely running in your favor and international dimensions flourish too.
Mercury in Gemini now makes you very articulate at work with good relationships with co-workers abounding but from the 26th when Mercury moves backwards, double-check communications and messages and don’t blindly trust technology, as gremlins are plentiful then in the works of all things communicative.
At least Venus in your solar 6th house from the 24th will help you keep sane with your charms and with your creativity being on top form.
There is however another caveat, apart from Mercury being retrograde from the 26th, and that is that Mars until the 9th is in Cancer, your opposite sign, which points to the danger to all born after January 17th of finding that they need to duck below the parapet in relationships. There will be exchanges that are challenging at the least. Others are quite belligerent, but it could be in a way that you need to learn from, so don’t be too quick to feel the injustice. From the 9th Mars moves into Leo and the energy is more indirect, but others will still need careful handling when it comes to deep emotions and financial sharing and dealings.
Saturn your ruler is still in Virgo but is very user-friendly and is acting as a sort of benign despot in some sort of way. All early born Capricorns, around December 22nd to 25th are having a steady but firm disciplining influence from Saturn now, creating the need for hard but obviously progressive and constructive work and in the gaining of wisdom. Travel is dutiful or work-related and academic standards are demanding, but all ultimately are for a very secure purpose, so don’t resent the regime.
Uranus is a very liberating influence for the usually cautious and conservative energies of Capricorn. Uranus is the foil to Saturn and promotes the new, the iconoclastic and sweeps away the old and outworn, hence all Capricorns born January 11th to 14th particularly are in a revolutionary period of a new insight, intelligence and recognition which brings a new liberation of spirit and outlook and also affects a new charisma to the persona. This is a time when you can be set free by the universe in some way.
Pluto is currently preparing to leave your sign next month to return briefly to Sagittarius but will then enter again into Capricorn for the long haul from December 2008. Meanwhile, very early Capricorns born around December 22nd are currently aware of the hand of destiny on their shoulders in some way as the endings of chapters are nigh. You may get a respite from this, but this energy will return with a vengeance from the end of this year, and then you will understand more truthfully what this fated anointing of power implies and having all the caution that is need to ensure that it is a positive experience.
