Neptune moving into Pisces on the 3rd for about 14 years is actually quite a benign and pleasant situation for your sign because Pisces is a compatible sign to your own. It is bound to bring for all of you for a period over the next 13 or 14 years some sense of a more sublime, spiritual dimension that will become closer to your life. Neptune always sensitises people to compassion and care. It also brings a greater emotionality in response to beauty and nature, particularly in response to the arts. It therefore is a great boost to the creative font. It brings a particular draw to music, film/ photography and as Neptune is the ruler of the sea, it brings a sense of healing from that direction. Because it will be in your solar 3rd house, it will definitely sensitise your intellect so that your heart becomes melded with your brain to give a fine and compassionate balance. An interest in the mystical and spiritual becomes stronger too and ability to link with others on a soulful level is also underlined, and since Capricorn is often a sign that is very concerned with material security, this definitely shifts the balance.

However, this is Aquarius’ month and it does point to your solar 2nd house which implies a need to be very financially alert with the possibility of consolidation of resources, particularly around the 13th and 19th. Security matters in general will be a focus (not unusual for you).

Before the 8th with Venus in Pisces, all born after January 11th will have additional charm in their communications and dealings with others will be greatly harmonised. After the 14th Mercury in Pisces indicates that for many of you, whether blogging, tweeting, texting or writing emails, let alone that rare thing called a letter, all will be enhanced by your communication skills. Mars is in Virgo this month in retrograde mode and is directly and positively affecting those born January 5th to 14th. He is bringing the possibility for some of you for real academic and philosophical study and he is certainly stimulating the higher mind and there is a hunger for learning that in some way that satisfies the soul. Travel, increased awareness and heightened knowledge and wisdom are very much a meld and practical action based on real inspiration is very underlined, but because Mars is retrograde, much of the energy and drive will be from psychological motivation and only doing what feels right will do. This is a strong energy but one that is very much motivated from the unconscious, and stopping and taking stock is very much part of the energy demanded.

Jupiter is in very positive mood for those born December 23rd to 30th. From Taurus he is bringing an extrovert, relaxed and life-affirming energy. He is creating confidence in both romance and also in creative and artistic matters. He is also bringing luck and possibly financial gain, or at least protection. This energy was around on and off in June/July and October/November of last year and is now here for a final hit for this group to savour.

Saturn in the last degree of Libra is challenging the lives of those born around January 20th. This is quite a protracted transit and will be with you for the next four weeks or so. This is a time when responsibilities and obligations feel onerous and blocked and restricted in some way. It is a time for this group to not succumb to a low or even depressed mood, but face facts. Get on with what has to be done, and by doing and being constructive, one can minimise the stresses. For those early Capricorns born December 22nd to 26th, Uranus is now bringing a lot of unexpected and unpredictable left field events, particularly on the domestic and family front. A need for change and for freedom is in the air and also equally a nervous feeling of a lack of safety and security, factors that your sign values. Try and go with the flow and accept that this is a time that is about necessary change. It brings enlightenment and allows you to look above the parapet, and although it seems scary, it really is your fear that makes it so. Your restlessness may make you impulsive at the moment, so do try and stop and think before jumping into anything out of panic or the desire to change the status quo.
