Ultra Violet, a great beauty who became first a Warhol superstar and then his nemesis, now has the profile of a young artist trying to succeed. Her debut exhibition in Chelsea was recently on view at the Stux Gallery. On the day of the opening, the artist, dressed in a mannish outfit, checked the reactions of visitors, somewhat nervously.
