Sculpture-morte (Still Sculpture), 1959, marzipan and insects on paper, mounted on Masonite, c. 13 x 9 x 2 in. Musče National d'Art Moderne,
Centre
Pompidou, Paris. This fantastic head in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo (ca. 1530-93) was one of three illustrations for a collaborative work planned
with Duchamp's friend and cataloger Robert Lebel in 1959. The better- known example of the three is the self-portrait drawing with plaster relief called With My Tongue in My Cheek.
