Speranza, Giovanni Battista
(b Rome, c. 1600; d Rome, 1640). Italian painter. He was one of a number of painters, such as Andrea Camassei and Emilio Savonanzi, who worked in the orbit of Andrea Sacchi in the 1630s and who contributed to collaborative works with other minor artists, such as Giuseppe Puglia (d 1636) and Pietro Paolo Baldini.
