Pereira Campanhã, Francisco
(d Oporto, 21 June 1776). Portuguese designer and wood-carver. He was a successful and skilled wood-carver (entalhador) and one of the finest exponents of the Rococo style in this medium in northern Portugal. He belonged to a family of artists; his brothers were the master masons Caetano and João Pereira ( fl 1760s), and his son was the architect Damião Pereira de Azevedo ( fl second half of the 18th century).
