Pazzaglia, Antonio
(b Genoa, c. 1736; d Rome, 1 July 1815). Italian gem-engraver and medallist. He was the son of Stefano Pazzaglia (d after 1785), with whom he worked in Rome, at least from 1753. Before then Stefano was active in Florence, but little is known of his work; a medal (Minneapolis, Clark priv. col., see Giuliano, fig. 55) made in 1766 for Abbondio Rezzonico, a nephew of Clement XII and Senator of Rome, was the work of either Stefano or Antonio.
