(1) Valentin van Orley
(b c. 1466; d Brussels, 1532). Painter. His name appears several times in the records of the Antwerp Guild of St Luke, most notably in 1512 as a freeman with a pupil and in 151617 with additional pupils. He must have also worked in Brussels, but those guild records are lost.
