Mohedano (de la Gutiéra), Antonio
(b Lucena, nr Córdoba, 1561; d Antequera, nr Málaga, 1626). Spanish painter. He was trained to paint in Córdoba around 1580, where the most important master was the painter Pablo de Céspedes. He also took part in literary activities of the humanist circle in the city. From 1590 he worked in Lucena, and in 1599 he was in Seville. Towards 1610 he settled in Antequera, where he was active until his death.
