Marinali.

Italian family of sculptors. Francesco Marinali (b 17 Oct 1609; d after 1655) was a sculptor in Angarano, who moved to Bassano after the birth of his sons (1) Orazio Marinali, Francesco Marinali the younger (1647–after 1717) and (2) Angelo Marinali. The family subsequently established (c. 1668) a workshop in Vicenza and were active throughout the Veneto in the late 17th century and early 18th. Other sculptors employed in the Marinali workshop included Angelo De Putti ( fl 1699–1725) and Giacomo Cassetti (1682–1757). The workshop was directed by Orazio, and while Francesco the younger was only an executor and not the creator of original works, Angelo played an important role. Like Orazio he had a distinctive style and carried out independent commissions.
