Longhi [Lunghi] (i).
Italian family of painters. They flourished during the 16th century and the early 17th. The Mannerist painter (1) Luca Longhi, who produced mainly religious paintings and portraits, trained two of his children, (2) Francesco Longhi and (3) Barbara Longhi. They collaborated with him on several of his later works, including the Marriage of Cana (157980; Ravenna, Bib. Com. Classense), which incorporates portraits of Barbara and Francesco Longhi.
