Lansere [Lanseray].
Russian family of artists. The sculptor Yevgeny (Aleksandrovich) Lansere married Yekaterina (Nikolayevna) Benois, the daughter of the architect Nikolay (Leont’yevich) Benois (see BENOIS, (1)): the two families of artists were therefore related. Yevgeny (Aleksandrovich) Lansere had three children who were artists: (1) Yevgeny (Yevgen’yevich) Lansere, (2) Nikolay (Yevgen’yevich) Lansere and ZINAIDA SEREBRYAKOVA.
