Korean family of painters. (1) Kim Ung-hwan was an established court painter of the Choson period (13921910), as were his maternal uncle, Han Chong-yu (b 1737), his nephewslater adoptive sons(2) Kim Tuk-sin, (3) Kim Sok-sin and Kim Yang-sin ( fl late 18thearly 19th century), and his sons-in-law Chang Han-jong (17681815) and YI MYONG-GI.
