Ionescu, Grigore
(b Floresti, Prahova, 11 Jan 1904; d 26 June 1992). Romanian architect, architectural historian and teacher. He studied (192430) at the Ion Mincu Academy of Architecture, Bucharest, where he later became a professor, teaching mainly the history of Romanian architecture, first as a lecturer (193542) and then as a professor (1942). In the beginning he also held courses on restoration and assisted in the drawing/planning course.
