(b Floresti, Prahova, 11 Jan 1904; d 26 June 1992). Romanian architect, architectural historian and teacher. He studied (1924–30) at the Ion Mincu Academy of Architecture, Bucharest, where he later became a professor, teaching mainly the history of Romanian architecture, first as a lecturer (1935–42) and then as a professor (1942–). In the beginning he also held courses on restoration and assisted in the drawing/planning course.
