Heem, de.

Dutch family of painters. (1) Jan Davidsz. de Heem is considered one of the most eminent STILL-LIFE painters of the 17th century. He had many followers, including two of his sons, (2) Cornelis de Heem and (3) Jan Jansz. de Heem, and a grandson, (4) David de Heem. Jan Davidsz.’s influence continued until the 19th century.
