Golubkina, Anna (Semyonovna)
(b Zaraysk [now in Moscow region], 28 Jan 1864; d Zaraysk, 7 Sept 1927). Russian sculptor. She studied in Moscow from 1889 to 1890 with the sculptor Sergey Volnukhin (18591921) and from 1891 to 1894 at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 1894 she studied at the Higher Artistic School of the Academy of Arts in St Petersburg and from 1895 to 1896 in Paris, at the Académie Colarossi. Between 1897 and 1898 she profited from the advice of Auguste Rodin.
