Glockendon.

German family of illuminators and print publishers. They were active in Nuremberg during the late 15th century and the earlier 16th. (1) Georg Glockendon I, son of the woodcutter Albrecht Glockendon I, had two sons, (2) Albrecht Glockendon II and (3) Nikolaus Glockendon. The 12 sons of Nikolaus (including Gabriel, Georg II, Jakob, Nikolaus, Sebastian and Wolf) were also artists.
