Eisen.

French family of artists of Flemish origin. (1) François Eisen is chiefly known as a painter of genre scenes. His son (2) Charles Eisen received recognition as a painter and book illustrator. Charles’s sons, Christophe-Charles Eisen (b 1744) and Jacques-Philippe Eisen (b 1747), were also artists.
