Donzello [Donzelli].
Italian family of painters. (1) Pietro del Donzello and (2) Ippolito del Donzello were the sons of a messenger for the city administration (donzello dell Signoria) in Florence. They are both documented in a Florentine catasto (land registry declaration) of 1480 and were not of Neapolitan origin, as is often stated erroneously. The following members have entries:
