Crace.
English family of interior decorators. During the 19th century members of the family headed the most important decorating firm in Britain. For 131 years the business was handed down from father to son, and commissions included interiors for a number of royal palaces, aristocratic seats and major public buildings. The family worked with leading architects and designed interiors in the most advanced styles of the day, their work informed by careful study of major European architectural monuments.
