English artists. (1) Richard Cosway and his wife, (2) Maria Cosway, were successful artists who established a fashionable salon in their London home in the 1780s and 1790s. Richard Cosway is best known for his ‘stained’ drawings, while Maria’s oeuvre, and her life, developed a somewhat broader range than those of her husband. The following members have entries:
