Bertucci.
Italian family of painters. (1) Giovanni Battista Bertucci is known as il vecchio to distinguish him from his nephew Giovanni Battista Bertucci il giovane (c. 1540–1614), who worked on the decoration of the Vatican Loggia in Rome; Giovanni Battista il vecchio’s sons, Michele (1493–1520) and Raffaelle Bertucci (b 1496/1501), were also painters. Giovanni Battista il vecchio sometimes worked with his brother Girolamo Bertucci (d 1528), whose works have not been identified. The following members have entries:
