(b Wesel, c. 1465; d Wesel, c. 1527). Son of (1) Derick Baegert. Having been trained by his father, he apparently visited the Netherlands as a journeyman in 14824. As few of his works remain in situ, it is seldom possible to ascertain their original locations, let alone to establish precise dates; this can be done only for works from his final years.
