Aureller.

Swedish family of painters. Working principally in Västergötland, (1) Johan Aureller (i) brought a more opulent and sophisticated European style to the restrained and formal art of provincial Sweden in the 17th century. In this he was followed, although with less talent, by his son (2) Johan Aureller (ii).
