Adriano Fiorentino [Adriano di Giovanni de Maestri]
(b ?Florence, c. 145060; d Florence, before 12 June 1499). Italian sculptor. Like his collaborator Bertoldo di Giovanni, he may have started his working life as a servant in the house of Lorenzo de Medici. An Adriano nostro is recorded delivering letters for Lorenzo in 1483 and again in March 1484, when Lorenzo referred to him as Adriano formerly our groom (staffiere).
