Spring is in the air and Paris is the ideal city to combine leisure with culture. , the springtime event for Modern and Contemporary Art, will take place this year at the Grand Palais from to . Under the beautiful roof of the Grand Palais, 144 galleries from 20 countries will present works by 1,500 artists to the expected 48,000 visitors.

Art Paris Art Fair focuses on artworks from Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. 74 new galleries are participating this year, confirming the international dimension of the art fair; the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Slovenia are amongst the countries who are exhibiting for the first time. Art Paris Art Fair will bring together established and emerging galleries.

This year, Russia is the fair’s guest of honor, with 10 Russian galleries exhibiting, and Russian artworks presented by various European galleries. Russian Masters, figures of the Contemporary Art scene, and emerging artists will be displayed during the art fair. From Erik Bulatov (Russian, b.1933) to AES+F Group (Russian, b.1955; b.1958; b.1957; b.1956) and Pavel Pepperstein (Russian, b.1966), almost 90 artists will be exhibited. The fair will feature artworks by major personalities of Russian photography, including Nikolay Bakharev (Russian, b.1946) and Alexander Gronsky.

Art Paris Art Fair will also present many established artists such as Pierre Soulages (French, b.1919), Arman (American/French, 1928–2005), Sherrie Levine (American, b.1947), Jesús Rafael Soto (Venezuelan, 1923–2005), Shirin Neshat (Iranian, b.1957), and Hiroshi Sugimoto (Japanese, b.1948).

In addition, the fair will dedicate a space called Promesses to some European emerging galleries, who have been established for less than five years and have never before participated in the art fair. Furthermore, Artdesign platform will explore the links between Design and Contemporary Art; nine galleries will present exclusive artworks such as sculptures, Design, and jewels. During the weekend, some lectures will also take place, which will allow the audience to meet art critics, artists, and editors.
