The 19th century saw the increase of children as subject matter in paintings, not simply as sitter in a portrait, but as characters in a play captured in a moment of youth and innocence. This exhibition includes works by Francis Coates Jones, Peter H.K. Zahrtmann, and Janssen Luplau. Showing alongside this exhibition is a selection of fine antiques and objet d’art.
