We are proud to premier for the first time in three decades, the original paintings of American artist Maurice Green.

Born in 1908 in Latvia , Maurice Green studied with prominent artists of the continent before settling in Los Angeles in the early 1930’s. Committed to his painting, Green continued pursuing his formal art education in America and began exhibiting throughout galleries in Southern California.

Through his intense fascination with the cubist avant garde movements of the early 20th century, the artistic style of Maurice Green evolved into exclusively cubist imagery which became his trademark style of painting for the remainder of his life.

The paintings of Maurice Green portray a variety of kinetic environments within refracted plains of dimension. Organic forms become linier, while linear forms become subdivided gaining multiple perspective. The presentation of the paintings of Maurice Green is a joyful culmination of a reclusive artists lifetime work, we invite you to see and experience the world through the eyes of artist Maurice Green. This is the first presentation of the paintings of Maurice Green since his death in 1993.
