In September 1923, after nearly a decade of living and working in his native Russia, Marc Chagall returned to Paris at the request of the French art dealer Ambroise Vollard, becoming part of the great migration of artistic creativity to that city which had started at the beginning of the 20th century and which became known as the School of Paris.

This exhibition features works by Chagall, Utrillo, Valladon, Vlaminck, Marcoussis, Hayden, Survage, Leger, Kisling, Zadkine, Pascin, Pressmane, Ryback, Altmann, Mane-Katz, Aberdam, Kremegne, Papart and Lanskoy.
