Rosier Gallery is pleased to present the color photographs in Joël Tettamanti’s studies “Sisimiut” and “Ilulissat” from November 28, 2012 – January 8, 2013. Both studies feature large-format images with the “Sisimiut” works being captured during 2012 and those in the “Ilulissat” study during 2008-2009. This exhibition marks the first time Rosier Gallery has shown the artist's work.
Joël Tettamanti’s photographs have been featured in over 20 individual and group exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Brazil, Luxembourg and the United States. Numerous museum and corporate collections hold the artist’s work including Mudam Luxembourg, Swiss Confederation Art Collection, Swiss Foundation of Photography, Fonds National d’Art Contemporain, UBS and Julius Baer. In 2001, the artist received an HES Diploma of Graphic Design and Photography from the ECAL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Joël Tettamanti was born in 1977 in Cameroon and currently lives and works in Switzerland.
