Opening reception February 16, 6 - 8pm

Gemini G.E.L. at Joni Moisant Weyl is pleased to announce its relocation in February 2012 to 535 West 24th Street in Chelsea, New York. Now celebrating its 28th year in Manhattan, the gallery is returning to its downtown roots joining print-world colleagues such as Senior & Shopmaker, Mary Ryan, Jim Kempner, Susan Inglett, Pace Prints, Editions Schellmann, Carolina Nitsch, the International Print Center and others.

The prestigious firm of Stamberg Aferiat Architecture was hired to create the gallery’s new 3,000 square-foot space, slated to open on February 16. Known for their innovative and bold use of color as well as for (quoting their mission statement) “finding simple solutions to difficult architectural problems,” Stamberg Aferiat will create an important statement to compliment the gallery’s ongoing presentation of prints and editioned sculptures.
