Welcome to the opening reception
in the presence of the artist,
Thursday, November 15, 5-7 pm.

Galerie Forsblom’s exhibition opening of Mark Francis (1962) showcases the artist’s new paintings. The rhythmic energy of these paintings enters us into the profound dialogue between science and art.

Francis’s paintings at the exhibition reach from the invisible world to the naked eye: they describe the formation of life and the balance of existence. In the past few years, Francis has become fascinated by those physical forces germane to conceptualizing the universe. His artistic approach has been informed by a number of concepts such as Quantum Mechanics to include notions of String Theory and multi verses. The artist likes the idea that the universe operates as a supernetwork, within which everything is globally linked together by a web-like network.
