Flora Empire, on exhibition in Galerie Forsblom’s studio, presents the graphic side of Adam Saks, who is known for filling his oil and acrylic paintings with colour. The exhibition features seven new drypoint and aquatinte etchings and one litograph. The artist’s technique in drilling and hammering the copper plates gives the works a certain roughness, while his gentle lines lend the works a novel poetic mood, achieving a charming impression of sparkling light. The copper sheets were processed in Ole Larsen's studio in Sweden.
