Opening of the new show „Mr. Brainwash – Life is beautiful“ on Friday, May 09th 2014, 7pm – 9pm, in Nuremberg .
The exhibition runs through June 30th 2014.
GALERIE FLUEGEL-RONCAK, with a strong focus on Contemporary Art and Pop Art will show the new edition of Street Art Star Mr. Brainwash – Life is beautiful for the very first time in Germany. Also we will show twenty other prints, all Mixed Media unique works by him. The show includes also a portrait of the famous music icon „Madonna“ which was used for the cover of her „Celebration“ Album.
Furthermore we will present the unique work „Kate Moss“ , who was celebrating her 40th Birthday on the 16th of January 2014. The little editions, which the artist publishes every year were out of stock within a few days.

Many celebrities are among the collectors of Mr. Brainwash’s artworks like Rihanna and Madonna.The artist formally known as Mr. Brainwash is also popiular as „MBW“. In real life he is called Thierry Guetta.
He was born in France 1966. Today he lives and works in Los Angeles.
He got famous through the Oscar nominated Documentary „Exit through the gift shop“. In this movie he accompanied his big idol „Banksy“ for several days.
The movement of Street or Urban Art was created in the suburbs of London with graffiti art at public places.
At first it has been famous just in insider circles, then it became at a premium as collector’s item for Musicians and other celebrities.

By now in some cases they make millions. This continues the Pop Art Movement.
POP ART is one of the most successful art movements in the last decades. Many of our artists are in well known museum collections around the globe.
