Mona Hakimi-Schüler 'In Gedanken, so fern' (Zurich)    Mar 28 - May 19, 2012

Iranian artist Mona Hakimi-Schüler will present her newest works at AB Projects from 28th March to 19th May 2012. Her project „stories I live by“ is the essence of the artist's fairytale-like stories, stories that are a mixture of her remembered past, the actual present and an imagined future. As she uses personal and collective myths as metaphors she positions herself within current events, bringing them into question. While dealing with current political and societal questions Mona Hakimi-Schüler's draws her inspiration from the early Persian book illustration as well as Persian mythology.
