We are pleased to announce the gallery’s representation of Tracey Moffatt in North America. Her first solo exhibition with us will feature her recent photographic series, Plantation, as well as Other, the final work in her video series inspired by Hollywood films. Moffatt is one of today’s leading international visual artists working in photography, film and video. Many of her photographs and short films have achieved iconic status both in her home country of Australia and around the world. Her photographs play with many different printing processes and have a filmic, narrative quality. Moffatt’s works are widely collected by major international museums, and she has participated in the Venice Biennale (1997) as well as the biennials of Sydney, São Paulo, and Gwangju. Moffatt will be featured in a solo exhibition at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York, from October 28, 2010 to January 2, 2011.
