“It is a serendipitous coincidence that the ground of this image
happens to come from a Chinese mirror that I found 20 years
ago and gave to my ex-wife Jacqueline, one of the many supports
that I have mined to invent other versions of myself in a constant
shifting image of painting, like a diary.”

Seven paintings, each entitled Untitled (Chinese Painting) are unique works in spray paint, ink, resin and oil on polyester. This selection is from a group of 10 that were painted outside in Montauk, Long Island this summer. An exhibition catalogue will be available.
